This post shall teach you how to do exponents. If you know how to multiply, exponents can be easy. I will give you an example of what an exponent looks like:

(Sorry , I couldn't get the exponent in the right place, but the exponent should be in the top right corner next to the number) Anyways, you multiply the number by the exponent. It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

ok - You did a good job defining base and exponent and your example is correct. However, your explanation states "The base is the main number which gets multiplyed by the exponent." which is not true. The exponent tells you how many times to multiply the base by itself. Next time you could add a real world application or a link to an interesting site.
